Magic in the Andes: Machu Picchu Full Day Experience
Embark on an unforgettable journey to one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Our Machu Picchu Full Day Tour is designed for those who want to make the most of their time without missing a single detail of the Inca majesty.
The Awakening of Adventure: Our journey begins very early, around 3:30 AM. We will pick you up directly from your hotel or Airbnb and transfer you to the historic Ollantaytambo train station. This approximately 2-hour journey from the city of Cusco is the perfect prelude, where we will watch the sunrise paint the mountains of the Sacred Valley.
A Scenic Train Ride: Upon arrival at the station, we will board our train to Aguas Calientes. For 1 hour and 45 minutes, you can relax and enjoy a ride flanked by snow-capped landscapes, winding rivers, and the gradual transition to the cloud forest. Upon arrival, our specialized staff will be waiting to assist you in boarding the bus that will take you on a 30-minute uphill ride to the citadel gate.
Encounter with History: Once at the checkpoint, we will begin the official guided tour. For approximately two hours, we will explore the most important areas of the citadel: the imposing Temple of the Three Windows, the sacred plazas, the residential zones, and the strategic viewpoints where you can capture your dream photograph. Our guides will immerse you in the worldview of the Inca culture, revealing the secrets of their architecture and astronomy.
Exploration and Return: After recharging with the unique energy of Machu Picchu, we will descend by bus to the picturesque town of Aguas Calientes. Here you will have free time to enjoy a restorative lunch (optional) and stroll through the artisan market. Finally, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our team will meet you for the final transfer to your accommodation in Cusco, closing a day full of history and wonder.

Tour MachuPicchu Full Day
1 - How far in advance should I book?
Due to high demand and capacity limits set by the Ministry of Culture, we recommend booking at least 30 to 60 days in advance, especially if you wish to travel during peak season (May to August).
2 - What tour circuit does this tour include?
The tour is assigned based on availability at the time of purchase. We generally choose tours that offer classic and panoramic views of the citadel. Please remember that the tours are one-way and backtracking is not permitted.
3 - Is it a physically demanding tour?
The level is moderate. We will walk along stone paths and original Inca staircases for about 2 hours. You don't need to be an athlete, but you should have basic mobility suitable for uneven terrain.
4 - What happens if it rains?
Machu Picchu is located in the cloud forest, so rain is common even during the dry season. The tour is not canceled due to rain, as the citadel takes on a special mystical air under the clouds. Don't forget your rain poncho!
5 - Does it include entry to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain?
This standard tour does not include climbing the additional mountains. If you wish to add this challenge (subject to availability), please inform us at the time of booking, as it requires a special ticket and a different schedule.
