15-day Peru itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lima and transfer to the hotel
Upon your arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, our team will assist you and transfer you to your selected hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you can relax or take advantage of the time to explore iconic neighborhoods like Barranco and Miraflores, an excellent first glimpse into the Peruvian capital.
Day 2: City tour in Lima
In the morning, we'll begin our tour of Lima. We'll visit the modern area with its views of the Pacific Ocean and observe the Huaca Pucllana from the outside to learn about part of the city's pre-Hispanic heritage.
Then we'll continue to the historic center to see the Lima Cathedral, the City Hall, and the Government Palace. We'll also visit the Convent of San Francisco and its famous catacombs, one of the most representative sites of Lima's viceregal history.
Day 3: Paracas and adventure in Huacachina
Very early in the morning, we'll depart on the Pan-American Highway South towards Paracas. From the pier, we'll begin our excursion to the Ballestas Islands, where we'll observe sea lions, coastal birds, and the famous Candelabro geoglyph, an enigmatic figure etched into the sand.
Afterward, we'll continue to Ica. Along the way, we'll stop for lunch and visit a local winery, where you can learn more about pisco production. Finally, we'll arrive at the Huacachina oasis for an adrenaline-filled experience with buggy rides, sandboarding, and an unforgettable sunset among the dunes.
Day 4: Trip from Ica to Nazca
After breakfast, we'll continue our journey along the Pan-American Highway South towards Nazca, a trip of approximately two and a half hours. Upon arrival, we'll assist you with your transfer to the hotel. The afternoon will be free for you to relax or explore the city on your own.
Day 5: Flight over the Nazca Lines and overnight bus to Arequipa
Today we'll experience one of the most amazing moments of the trip: a flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines. From the air, you'll be able to appreciate the diverse geometric, zoomorphic, and anthropomorphic figures that continue to fascinate people around the world.
After the flight, you'll have free time to relax and explore the city. In the evening, we'll board the overnight bus to Arequipa.
Day 6: Arrival in Arequipa and city tour
Upon arrival in Arequipa, our team will meet you at the bus station and transfer you to your hotel. After a rest, we'll take an afternoon tour of the so-called White City.
We'll visit viewpoints, the Plaza de Armas (main square), colonial churches, and the Santa Catalina Monastery, one of the most impressive architectural complexes in southern Peru.
Day 7: Tour to the Colca Canyon
In the morning, we'll depart for the Colca Valley, crossing the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where we'll observe high Andean landscapes and vicuñas in their natural habitat.
Along the way, we'll make strategic stops to enjoy the scenery and allow for acclimatization. Upon arrival in Chivay, you'll have time for lunch, check-in at the hotel, and, optionally, a visit to the La Calera hot springs.
Day 8: Cruz del Cóndor and trip to Puno
After breakfast, we'll head to the famous Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, one of the best viewpoints overlooking the Colca Canyon. From here, with a bit of luck, we might witness the majestic flight of the Andean condor.
On the return journey, we'll visit traditional villages like Yanque and Maca. Later, we'll continue our road trip to Puno, crossing breathtaking Andean landscapes before arriving at our hotel.
Day 9: Tour to the Uros and Taquile Islands
In the morning, we'll pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the pier. We'll sail across Lake Titicaca to the floating islands of the Uros, constructed from totora reeds, where we'll learn about the way of life and customs of its inhabitants.
Then we'll continue to Taquile Island, known for its vibrant culture, traditional textiles, and beautiful landscapes. There, we'll enjoy a traditional lunch before returning to Puno in the afternoon.
Day 10: Sun Route from Puno to Cusco
Early in the morning, we'll transfer you to the bus station to board the tourist bus to Cusco. During the journey, we'll stop at iconic landmarks such as Pucará, La Raya, Raqchi, and Andahuaylillas.
In addition to the historical and cultural significance of this route, the tour offers spectacular panoramic views of the Andes. At the end of the tour, we'll arrive in Cusco and transfer you to your hotel.
Day 11: City tour in Cusco
We will begin our visit at Qoricancha, the ancient Temple of the Sun, and then continue to some of the most important archaeological sites in the surrounding area.
We will visit Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay, sites that offer a deeper understanding of the architectural and ceremonial legacy of the Inca world.
Day 12: Sacred Valley and trip to Aguas Calientes
In the morning, we'll depart for the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We'll visit Pisac, its terraces, and its artisan market, and then continue to Urubamba, where we'll enjoy a buffet lunch.
Afterward, we'll proceed to Ollantaytambo, one of the valley's most iconic towns. Following the visit, we'll transfer to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.
Day 13: Guided tour of Machu Picchu
As previously arranged, we will take the bus up to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Once there, we will enjoy a guided tour of its main viewpoints, temples, and historical sites.
After the tour, we will return to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time before boarding the train back to Cusco.
Day 14: Tour to Rainbow Mountain
Very early in the morning, we'll depart for the Cusipata area, where we'll have breakfast before beginning our hike to Vinicunca, known as Rainbow Mountain.
During the trek, you'll enjoy unique high Andean landscapes. After reaching the viewpoint and having time for photos, we'll return for lunch en route and head back to Cusco in the afternoon.
Day 15: Transfer to the airport
Depending on your flight schedule, we will transfer you to Cusco airport to say goodbye and conclude our services.
