Hike to Rainbow Mountain – Vinicunca
From the trailhead, we begin the hike toward Rainbow Mountain. The walk takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes through high-Andean scenery, with views of mountains, local communities and the Ausangate area. Horses are usually available for rent along the route if needed.
Rainbow Mountain Viewpoint
At the Vinicunca viewpoint, your guide will explain the surrounding landscape and the natural mineral colors of the mountain. You will also have time to rest, enjoy the views and take photographs.
